 Mudras can cure almost any ailment from a simple earache to a heart attack. If a person who has developed heart trouble performs Mritsanjivini Mudra; it will lead to a path of permanent recovery. Through Mritsanjivini Mudra a patient who is suffering a heart attack can check the attack and get instant relief. Technique:

• Fold the forefinger down on the mound of the thumb,. Join the thumb with the tips of the third and fourth finger.
• The little figure remains straight.
• Close your eyes and relax, keeping whole body motionless. The gesture thus formed is the Mritsanjivini Mudra.

Some more healthy tips for the heart:
# Early morning is ideal for taking a walk, while keeping your hands in Mritsanjivini Mudra. This will not only help your heart, it will prepare you for the day by charging up your circulation and your metabolism.

# Yoga and Dhyan for at least 30 minutes, three or more times per week helps strengthen the heart.

# Nadi Sodhana Paranayam is the best exercise for heart patients and can be done virtually anywhere, anyplace. For this inhale though the right nostril, exhale through the left; then again inhale through the left and exhale through the right.

# Increase fibre and reduce fat intake in your diet as this helps lower blood cholesterol. Fibre is found only in plants — fruits, vegetables and grains.

# Learn to stay calm so that you don’t lose your temper and increase your blood pressure. Deep breathing is a good way to control anger and to relax.

# Make yourself feel free and happy, keep smiling always. Even five minutes of laughter keeps our stress at the lowest possible level.
